Panel Awards

As well as bringing a broad spectrum of theatre styles to as broad an audience as possible, The Off Cut Festival is very much a showcase for the talent involved. Throughout the festival, industry professionals attend performances with a view to making new discoveries. Further to this, we invite a panel comprising representatives from various areas of the business to the last performance of the final eight. This panel then discusses who will win the Panel Awards for Acting, Writing and Directing.

Previous panelists include playwright and screenwriter, Moira Buffini; Olivier Award winning actress, Patricia Hodge; casting director, Jo Buckingham; literary manager of High Tide, Rob Drummer; literary agent from The Agency, Emily Hickman; playwright Tena Štivičić and Ben Webb from directors’ collective, Living Pictures.
