Previously a graphic designer, Neil started writing for theatre after winning Script Slam Writer of the Year in 2009 with his first short play, Seven People.

His theatre credits include:

Magnets (Chapter Arts Centre), Michael Groves (Chapter Arts Centre), Tesco Bans Jedi (UNDEB Theatre), STRAIGHT (UNDEB Theatre – “An astonishingly accomplished piece of theatre”. 4* The Guardian), Hello Sunshine (Dirty Protest), CUL DE SAC (The Bikeshed Theatre – “A powerful, funny drama” 3* The Guardian), CLUBTALK (‘AVE IT – Old Vic Tunnels).

He has also written and directed two short films: FIVE PEOPLE (Ditto.tv) and IS ELVIS THERE? (Chapter Arts Centre/Latitude Festival).

He lives in Cardiff and loves cycling, ice-cream and insects.
