Jake Leonard
Jake has entered a couple of writing competitions before; once, with a short one-act play called The Father, which was a Freudian take on the story of Adam and Eve; and once with an extract from a full-length play he has since demolished and morphed into other ideas. Jake has always enjoyed writing and like to write poems, plays, short stories and film scripts. I have co-directed a few amateur short films with my younger brother, Liam, in addition to acting and directing at ‘the Little Theatre’ in Leicester. This year, I will be starting a History degree at the University of Nottingham. This festival is a great experience for me and I’m really looking forward to seeing the reception all the plays get at ‘Off Cut’.
