Laura Vorwerg
Laura recently completed her MA in Theatre Directing at Royal Holloway, University of London, winning The Next Stage production award for her final piece, Bryony Lavery’s More Light. Laura joined the industry in 2006 as an assistant director and most recently was engaged as staff producer on Scottish Opera’s production of Katya Kabanova. Engagements as assistant director include productions of The Pirates of Penzance (Ocean Theatre Company), The Rake’s Progress (Opera East), Un Giorno di Regno and L’Elisir D’amore (Opera Della Luna, new English translations by Jeff Clarke) and Tamerlano (Opera by Definition, new English translation by Christopher Cowell).
