Gbemisola Ikumelo
Gbemisola firstly trained as an Actress with credits including: Shenzi in The Lion King, Caro in Holby City and an appearance in Death and The Kings Horseman at The National Theatre. As an emerging director she has written and directed acclaimed and hard-hitting play Life on the stairs which toured Nationally, The Fiddler which ran successfully at The Unicorn Theatre and NEXT DOOR for the Cockpit Theatre. Highlights for Gbemisola was directing Liquid Gold for Tiata Fahodzi’s summer festival and more recently being Assistant Director to Michael Attenborough in David Eldridge’s The Knot of the Heart.
