Brigid Lohrey
Brigid started directing in 2007 for Pollyanna Drama with the 4 to 6 year olds and such masterpieces as Molly’s Magic Garden and The Sleepy Reindeer. In the last five years she has also directed children in plays for The New End Theatre and Ashfold School, as well as multiple devised plays for The Action Station and The Little Actors Company. Her first go at directing adults was at the Actorworks, where she directed After Miss Julie, and Sue Townsend’s Ten Little Fingers, Nine Little Toes. Brigid is also an actor and recent theatre roles include; Mrs Malaprop in The Rivals (DT Productions); Gertrude in Hamlet and Nurse in Romeo and Juliet (YSC); Queen Camilla in Snow White (Spillers) and Katherine in The Taming of the Shrew (open-air N England tour).
